Venus Over Manhattan returns to Art Basel Miami Beach this year with an engaging selection of historical and contemporary works presented in dialogue. Reflecting the exuberant spirit of the gallery’s growing program, this year’s booth (A04) will feature exciting new work by artists new to the gallery’s program, including Claude Lawrence, Philip Taaffe, Seth Becker, and Anastasia Bay. The booth will also highlight unique works by Richard Mayhew and Joan Brown, both of whom have major solo museum exhibitions presently on view, as well as important works by Robert Colescott, Joyce Pensato, Peter Saul, Raymond Pettibon, among many others.
Artists featured in the presentation include: Anastasia Bay, Seth Becker, Ana Benaroya, Joan Brown, Robert Colescott, Michael Kagan, Susumu Kamijo, Sophie Larrimore, Claude Lawrence, Richard Mayhew, Cristina de MIguel, Jim Nutt, Joyce Pensato, Raymond Pettibon, Peter Saul, Philip Taaffe, Keiichi Tanaami, and Yuichiro Ukai.
